Ingredients:
3 slices of soft bread or 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
1 cup milk (or less) 1 egg
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4+ cup chopped green pepper
1 1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Tablespoon Wocestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon mustard
1/4 teaspoon sage
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1 to 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
ketchup or chili sauce

Place torn bread into a large mixing bowl; add milk, egg, onion, bell pepper, and seasonings, and mix well. Add meat, mix lightly. Form lightly into loaf in shallow baking pan. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Note:Â To make "Frosted Meatloaf"...Spread ketchup or chili sauce over meat loaf before baking. To make "Tuck Away Meatloaf"...Place 3 hard cooked eggs, 6 to 8 cubes of cheese, or 12 stuffed olives in center of loaf before baking.
