Curly the Bull has become an icon for our local community during the Borel Fire.  He belongs to the Carruthers Family who lost their home to the fire in Havilah on July 26^th.  But Curly…he is a survivor! 

How is Curly now?  (a message from the Carruthers Family)  “Curly is being tended to multiple times a day and is under veterinary care. He is badly burned on his legs and underside, so he lays down more than he stands. But he does stand on his own throughout the day.  We understand that at times he looks like he’s on deaths door to the casual observer. He’s had us on our toes thinking the same thing more than once. But whenever we think it might be time, Curly stands up on his feet as if to say “Not today”. There is a long road of recovery ahead, and that’s if he survives the next couple of days/weeks. But as long as Curly is willing to fight for another day, we will give it to him.”

Not Today!  That was the inspiration for these t-shirts.  We can all learn from Curly’s tenacity to fight another day and we can all keep the faith that he will pull through this difficult time. 

100% of the profit ($12 per shirt) will be donated to the Carruthers Family to care for Curly and help rebuild their home.

Fun Fact:  Curly was born on Rankin Ranch!  We sold him to the Carruthers Family several years ago, so he holds a special place in our hearts as well.
